Opening an oyster scares you? To help you to open your oysters in the rules of the art, and for the confirmed amateurs, we present you the Laguiole oyster knife.
Aesthetic, it is available in eighteen different colours to match your decorations and cutlery. You can also match it with our fun table knives!
How to open an oyster?
To open your oysters, you have to insert a sharp blade into the shell and remove it. Using a conventional knife presents too great a risk of injury. A special oyster knife is THE solution to open your molluscs simply and safely.
The small blade of this Laguiole knife is sharpened on each side so that it can be inserted easily. Above all, it allows you to open your oyster delicately and not to damage the inside.
The manufacture of the oyster knife is 100% French. It is handcrafted in the workshops of Master Craftsman and Cutler Claude Dozorme.
Technical characteristics :
Our oyster knife consists of a stainless steel rivet and a half-silk blade with heat treatment.
The X46Cr13 stainless steel used is a very high quality material. Its rockwell hardness is between 54 and 56 HCR.
Equipped with a methacrylate handle, it is available in 19 different colours.
For purists looking for authenticity, we also offer a wooden version (exotic wood or olive olive).
This oyster knife is dishwasher-safe, for more practicality and a real time-saver.
Its dimensions are 11 centimeters for the handle and 6 centimeters for the blade. In all, the knife measures 17 centimetres in length.
All our handcrafted products are made in France. Each stage of manufacture, from the design of the model to its assembly, is carried out in our workshop.
