Wood box of Laguiole cheese knife + spreader stainless steel bolster
For breakfast or snake, find these two essentials in a box: the spreader and the Laguiole cheese knife.
The Laguiole shape is native to the Aveyron village of the same name. It is distinguished by its curved handle and the bee forged on the spring of the knife.
This set includes:
- A cheese knife with two spikes at the end of the blade, ideal for serving hard cheeses,
- A butter knife that will allow you to spread butter as well as jams or spreads. The sharp blade will cut the butter without difficulty, even hard.
The blade of these two kitchen accessories is made of high quality X50CrMoV15 steel, a stainless steel, very sharp and easily resharpable.
The handle of these two knives is available in several models: exotic wood, black horn, ivory resin or black resin. It is decorated with a stainless steel bolster.
You can also find this spreader or cheese knife delivered separately.
These table accessories are entirely made in France, in the workshops of Master Craftsman and Cutler Claude Dozorme.
Technical specifications:
The blade of these knives is forged from a high quality X50CrMoV15 steel, which consists of:
- 0.50 of carbon that gives edge to blade
- 0.15 of chromium for stainless steel
- 1% of molybdenum and vanadium which gives flexibility to the blade and thus allows easy re-sharpening
These two kitchen accessories are delivered in a beech wood box.
