The Laguiole form takes its name from the village of the same name, in Aveyron, where it was born. It is characterized by its curved handle and bee forged on the spring.
The blade of this bread knife has teeth, which allows to cut the bread very easily, without breaking the crust.
The handle comes in several models: ivory handle or black handle. Each model is decorated with a stainless steel bolster.
For breakfast, snack or simply at the end of the meal, complete your service with our cheese knife set, in order to make and taste good toasts.
Our Laguiole bread knives are 100% made in France and were manufactured in the workshop of Master Craftsman and Cutler Claude Dozorme.
Technical specifications:
The blade of this bread knife is made of high quality steel X50CrMoV15, the grinding is precise and the re-sharpening is therefore easy.
Of very good quality, this steel is composed of:
• 0.50 of carbon that allows an excellent blade cutting edge and clean cutting.
• 0.15 of chromium which makes the steel completely stainless.
• 1% of molybdenum and vanadium for the flexibility of the blade and therefore easy re-resharpening.
This kitchen accessory are made in France in Thiers, the French capital of cutlery, by skilled craftsmen trained in traditional and artisanal manufacturing methods.
