The handle of this knife is Thiers® shape, it is a shape that can only be made in the Thiernois basin, and which respects a very strict specification. It is distinguished by its clean lines and slightly curved handle.

The material used for the handle of this pocket knife is the Galuchat: it is a leather made from cartilaginous fish skin (ray or shark), it is a very noble and delicate material, very used in leather goods.

The blade of this folding knife is made of high quality steel X50CrMoV15, a very sharp steel that makes the blade very easily resharpable.

This knife has a very secure Liner Lock opening system since it blocks the blade in the open position.

Very design, this folding knife can also be used as a table knife to set up beautiful original and modern tables. In addition, this knife also exists as a model for the table.

The Galuchat pocket knife is entirely made in our Thiernois workshops, in an artisanal way, by craftsmen who care about respecting traditional manufacturing methods.

Technical specifications:

The blade of this folding knife is made of X50CrMoV15 steel, which consists of:

- 0.50 of carbon for a good blade cutting edge

- 0.15 of chromium for corrosion resistance

- 1% of molybdenum and vanadium which gives flexibility to the blade, and thus allows easy re-sharpening.

This knife comes in a black gift box with warranty certificate and a wrench to tighten or loosen the shaft, for greater ease of use.
